LINKS GOLF: HOW LINKS GOLF MAKES YOU A STRONGER GOLFER

How Links Golf Makes You a Stronger Golfer!

Sure you watch the Open Championships (British Open) on TV.
The Golfers who compete in those championships love Links Golf because it requires imagination … determination … and a totally different approach to the game.
Let’s describe …

– It is important to be creative with your impact alignments. Rarely do you hit a “Full” shot on a blustery, seaside links. You should understand how to control your trajectory and paint pictures with your golf ball. That’s what happens when you play links golf… you have to feel the game.

– For example, let’s say you’re 145 yards from the flag and there’s a strong wind right in your face. You can’t hit a 7 iron or 8 iron. You’ll have to take something like a 5 iron and hit a low  punch.

– Or let’s say you’re just off the green in a shallow hollow. How are you going to play the shot? With a Putter? With a Hybrid? With a Gap Wedge?

– Can you hit a baby draw to fight a crosswind?

– How about crushing a “tape measure drive” yards downwind on a Par-5 with super-firm Fairways?

Golf is fun when you’re playing on Country Club, Resort or Public course. But there’s something super-special about links golf:

° The setting right by the sea and beach is awesome and soothes the soul.

° You get fast and firm conditions – very different from lush conditions.

° Links Golf requires different shots plus you really have to use your imagination.

° The wind is almost always a factor …bringing more fun to the game.

° Golf on a Links Golf makes you a better Golfer because you’re playing more by feel and less by technique. It disclutters your golf mind.

° It’s like going from black and white … to color.

° Links Golf is the most enjoyable Golf on the planet.

Or … maybe even better … smashing a low drive into the wind?

Links Golf is “Golf in Color” and it’s the most fun you can have playing Golf. Yes, it can be maddening too. But there’s never a dull moment on a pure Links golf.
